    Default shift light

    I was wondering how to hook up a shift light up to a 1978 chevy pick up 350? thanks..

    Probably the easiest way would be to buy a tachometer with a shift light on it from an aftermarket supplier like Jegs.
    Most aftermarket tach's hook up with 3 wires, ground, power, and ignition signal.
    The shift light is set to the RPM's you prefer.

    What wire on the motor would i hook the green wire on the tach or whatever the color is up to.... would it be on the distributer or somewhere around there?
