    Default lookign to get 24s on my v6 help!

    ok guys i have a 2004 silverado v6 im looking to get 24s for my truck but ive been told my truck wont stop as good as now and that itll be slow as hell.... is it safe? i know theyll fit but how will my truck run? cuz its v6 now already slow i dont think i can live wit slower lol le tme know guys thanks

    well the rims will be heavier so your braking my suffer a little bit and there is more mass now that the motor has to spin. however i doubt the changes will be that bad or very much noticeable. Also try to get tires as close to the stock size height as possible so your gear ratios stay about the same

    i agree your truck being a v6 may suffer but not to the extent that you will notice. i have a 95 and although it has the v8 there was really no difference when i put the 22s on it. if you want go look at my pictures and if you like the rims they are for sale. Good Luck.

    i have a 95 s10 as well. the larger tire is not noticeable man, trust me.
    1995 Chevy S-10 Z71 4.3L
    2000 Chevy Silverado LT Z71 5.3L
