    Default hesitation on acceleration

    i have a 99' Silverado ext. cab w a 4.8..

    it runs nice,
    except for the hesitation i have when i accelerate...
    i can have the gas pedal on the floor and the RPMs dont go up or anything.. then all of the sudden it will take off... somebody said something about spark plugs and new wires...

    i put in a new fuel pump about 4 months ago.. and replaced the fuel filter at the same time..

    so if you have anny suggestions please let me know.

    Try cleaning your fuel sysyem, throttle body etc.I had the same problem on a 94 z and I cleaned out the TB and the problem stopped. hope this helps
