    Default 37s

How detrimental to the front end would throwing 37s on a 1/2 ton be? I've been tinkering with the idea but I don't want axle failure. I have 9" of total lift, so room isnt an issue.

They might put some extra stress on your cv's . But the with the 4.56's you should be able to push those bad boys. I'd probably go for it.

Shouldn't have any issues, granted your CV angles aren't bad to begin with. I would've rather you had 4.88's though with 37's.

    Cool 37s

Most of our customers that had front and rear axle issues were running tires 37s or 38s.The 1/2 ton axles really dont like anything over 35s. I had 35s on my Suburban for five years with no issues. Put 37s on and the first time off-road I broke a rear axle, went back to 35s for another five years. I know alot of people run bigger than 35s, but your really stressing things off-road and its no fun changing a axle off-road. Also when I put the 37s on the Suburban it took alot more gas pedal to get the truck moving even with 4.56 gears and the truck ate alot more fuel.
