i have a 2005 4-door silverado and i wanted to drop the rearend 5 inches to match the 2 inch drop spindles i just got. i was wondering if it was possible to flip the rearend using the factory u-bolts and plates and put a one inch lift shackle or if i had to get new plates and u-bolts and if so why wouldnt they hold up?
