    Default Brake pedal shuddering

i have this thing that recently started with my 03 sierra, when braking, near the end of braking (nearing a full stop) my brake pedal will shudder as if ABS was engaging, but there is no loss of traction to warrant abs engaging, was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Most likely the rotors are warped, have them tested first if they are within specs the can just resurface it for a fraction of replacement!

I had that problem on my S-10 and it turned out to be a warped rotor, but when I took them to the auto parts store to be turned the stock rotors didn't have enough material to be resurfaced. I ended up having to buy new one's, so hopefully you can have yours turned because it will save you a ton of money!

im sure the rotors are warped, but this is a whole different feeling, i wish i could describe it better, and it only exists at under 7 mph, where as the effects of the warped rotors are felt under all breaking speeds.

my truck does this badly when im coming to a stop and hit a bump in the road!!! i hate it, it engages the ABS hard then works perfectly any other time. another problem i have is from upgrading to large rims without upgrading brakes, im sure that adds to my problem. anywho thats my 2cents, good luck man

try pulling your abs fuse and see if it goes away, if it does then u know its an abs problem, if it's still there then it doesnt involve your abs
