    Default 2007 Tahoe speed limiter/governor

    I drive the Germany Autobahn and need to remove or recalibrate the speed limiter/governor so I can keep up with the average European auto. My Tahoe top speed is 97 miles per hour at about 2700 RPM. Max RPM is about 6500, which indicates that I have room to flex for at least another 20 miles per hour. Any experience on this issue is appreciated.

    A programmer should be able to allow you to change the rev limiter and the top speed. I know that my Hypertech does. I'd start there. Most handhelds allow you to change several performance specs and allow for greater speed/RPMs/torque.
