Cool check out this ram air system... good or bad compaired to cai

I purchased one a few years back when they first came out and the idea is great but I didnt like the way it fit and the plastic seemed to be brittel. Returned to Vararam were I purchased and they promptly refunded my money. I did keep the throttle body volacity stack I purchased at the same time and it works well. I saw better results with it than with the trottle body spacer.

Cool Check out this ram air system

Banks makes a new CAI for gas trucks. When I purchased mine the guys at Banks said the gas motors didnt see any gains with a ram tube, so they offer one for the gas motors. They did say the deisels made more power with them and they offer one for them. They said I could make the diesel ram air tube fit my gas truck with a little fab work but I would be wasting my time and money. There CAI is the best one Ive ever had.

for about 50 bucks more, you can get E-Ram with proven gain. for about $150 more you can get even more powerful, dual Super ram model.
why do you even consider tube intakes? gimmicks....

Spectra makes a kit you can piece together however you want it set up, then you can weld it or you can send it back to them and they can weld it for you, I used one on my old cavy and worked pretty good

I had that very system on my 04 GMC with a 5.3. I was not impressed with it however they have a new one that I want to get for my 09 GMC. Check thier website for the updated one...
