    Unhappy 94 chev low oil pressure

    my oil pressure was fine then one day the wire for the oil pressure sender got disconnected so i reconnected it and now its not right how do i fix the without changeing a motor

    Try unhooking the battery for a couple of hours to let the computer rest. Also a little more info would help. Like type of engine you have, have you cleaned the connections.

    how much pressure should a stock be getting?

    1995 silverado

    I would never trust an electric gauge as to your actual oil pressure. Remove the oil sender and install a pressure gauge. This is the only sure way to know what's going on inside your engine.
