    Default Hummer wheels/tires on 2500hd

Hi there , can you run hummer wheels and tires on a 2003 hd without any modifications (besides leveling kit) . They are a little bit wider . I can get a good deal on barely used set , I'll just leave the center caps off until I can get better rims to go with those tires . Any ideas , I greatly appreciate any help .

they are gonna be a little bit big. They should fit with a 3" lift and your leveling kit tho

Oh wow, didn't realize it was that big of a difference . Is the lift to clear the width of the tires , cause I think they are only 75 high , these are of the newer hummers I think a h2 or h3 maybe . Thanks for the response . I really didn't want to invest in a lift kit right now (buying a house) , but we will see . Thanks again

well there is a big difference in the tire sizes on the H2 and the H3. the stock size on the H2 is a 315/70R17 (35/12.5) which is a little big for just a leveling kit, but possibly could be squeezed in (but you will have to cut some plastic). however, H3's come with either a 265/75R16 (32/11) or a 285/75R16 (33/11.5) which will both fit on your truck. so you need to figure that out hahaha

The wheels will fit and since yours is a HD the hubs on the rear stick out of the wheels so you could not run the hummer caps anyway. I have a buddy that has them on his truck and his factory Chevrolet center cap fit over the wheel perfectly...It looks pretty awesome he also powder coated them black. The 315 is a little big but with factory style wheel, the higher offset the truck might clear the 315's easier than an aftermarket wheel. Give it a shot.

Yeah, I was suprised it took so long for a hummer joke, lol . Yeah I really think these will fit , I've looked and I really don't see where there would be any rubbing, the closest issue looks like the bottom of the bumper , but for width I can't see what would interfere or rub . Maybe this truck has a body lift on it , it is the hd model , but it seems slightly higher than some I see around . Oh well I might get them and then have an excuse to lift her up a little bit . . I will post the results for future reference . Thanks again for the help/comments
