    Question Tranny Problems..Help!

Hello, I have a 1998 chevy 1500 truck. It's got the 5.7 V8 with 4WD. When I floor it or even get close to flooring it, it seems like the tranny wants to slip. When I floor it all the way, the motor revvs up but the truck doesn't go at all. My dad thinks the problem is an electrical problem. I was just wondering what yall think the problem is..

    Thanks,
    Nathan

Hows the transmission fluid? If the fluid is full and not burned then you may have an electrical problem. First thing to do is to get it scanned for codes.

I'll check the fluid tomorrow...My dad is taking it to the shop to get fixed after he pays the $6,000 credit card bill for his 04 cobra's built motor.
