    Default 2002 Z71 Tahoe wheel/tire ?'s

    Hey guys,

I am looking at putting 20's on my 02' Z71 tahoe. I have already purchased a set of Boss Motorsports 20x8.5" wheels that have a +14mm offset. The tire size I want to run is a 305/50/20, approx. 32" tall x 12.6" wide. My question is will these fit without having to do any torsion bar adjustment or cutting on anything for them not to rub? Does anyone already have this configuration? My goal is to leave everything stock so I will go with a smaller size tire if I have to. Thanks for your input.

the height is fine, but you may rub a little bit inside your fender with a 305. if you do, it wont be much tho. I think you will be fine.

20" Factory rims are 31mm or 20mm so with 14mm it's probably going to rub, I have 305/50/20 tires on 20" factory rims with a 31mm offset and they are very close to rubbing on the inner fender, any major suspension compression and yours will rub on the outside of the tire and will probably hit the air dam because the offset is giong to make the tires stick out more , I have a 2.5" leveling kit on my truck. I would go with the stock size tire 275/55/20 if you aren't going to lift it.
