Well, since i bought my truck, my brake rotors were warped from day one. So my pedal pulses back and forth. And I've finally gotten tired of it doing that, so I'm finally looking to get new rotors. I was wondering, if the drilled slotted rotors are worth the money? $240 a pop is quite expensive. That's more then my rims cost! And while i change my rotors, I'm wanting to paint my brake calipers. Anyone got a suggestion for colour? My choices are Red, Black, John Deere Green, and White. I'm assuming there's no way to fix the warped rotors, but if there is. Please tell!

P.S. Also, 70km/h-80km/h driving speed, and braking, my truck bounces a little and my steering wheel is inching left and right, and same with at around 120km/h. I'm assuming this is an alignment and balancing issues. But with my rims that arrived at the shop yesterday, and i dropped off my tires for mounting today. I shouldn't worry about that until i get my new tires and rims on?
P.S.S. 33"x12.50" on 9" wide rims, fit on stock height with cranked up torsion bars? With Minimal rubbing?

You can fix warped rotors, if they have enough material left to turn them. If you have access to a micrometer and can measure the thickness of the rotor, you can either put it on here and i can tell you if they're ok or just call me. Also be sure to check your calipers and lube the slide pins. To check the calipers take the wheel off, take a flathead screwdriver and pry between the pad and the caliper. If the piston depresses than your good, if not you've got bad calipers which could be the slight pull you feel.

Be careful when you install you new rotors if you over tighten the lugs it will cause the rotors to warp this is common on the rear rotors but can happen on the front. use a torque wrench if you can not an impact.

like blazerado said, yes you can "fix" warped rotors. it is cheaper up fron to do and you can get s little more life out of what you already have, but their life expectancy will be shortened some. it you have enough metal left, you should be fine to have them shaved, if not, you will need new. also, they may be too warped to fix

Okay, thanks everyone, got my questions answered, picking up my new rims and tires tomorrow from the shop, hopefully the one part of the tire didn't leak... Posting pictures as soon as i can.

Sounds good, cant wait to see them. Were the rotors turnable?

Not only can you get the rotors resurfaced very cheaply but you can also drill them yourself, there are sites on the internet that show how to do it yourself, I wouldnt be confident to do it but it is something I know people do on there own, go red for the calipers

if there is enough left on the rotors you can have them turned so that the shacking isnt as bad

you can shave like a thin layer of your rotor just gotta find a place that will do them, my local tire shop does them.

GM rotors are crap and have been for a long time. I have replaced mine (1998 Tahoe and 2007 silverado classic) with Powerstop brand drilled and slotted and am very happy with them.
