Default Lightburn after removal of car Emblems?

I'm thinking about taking my factory emblems off my '02 Chevy Tahoe, preferably the back and side "Tahoe" and "Chevrolet" ones.

I haven't done it yet because I'm worried about a sun mark from where they are removed. Is there any way to prevent this problem or fix it after I have removed the emblems.

    thanks in advance

(btw, I'll post pics if need be)

after you get the trim off just work it with some rubbing compound and then wax it and it'll be good to go.

What I think your referring to is the "ghosting" of the letters after you remove them - its only residue left over from the glue - you can also use a clay Bar to remove it - lot less work than wax and buffing IMHO.
