i wanna start doing some things to my engine. Still stock. What would be some good mods to give me more power pulling. faster off the line.
The best place to start is air flow. Back pressure is needed but the more airflow (in and out) the better. Start with an exhaust system. Go to headers (thats on my wishlist as my next engine upgrade). It is said that these engines have pretty good airflow stock but next add the cold air intake. After that I would probably say a programmer. You could do these in probably any order, kinda depends if you need to do one at a time or can do it all at once. Nothing will make it a racer (ok maybe a supercharger. wife already told me no to that). Check out www.bankspower.com Sure they will try to sell you their stuff but they do have a section with tech articles that does a really good job of explaining the most effective ways to create power.
