    Question Fuel gauge reading

I have looked through the forums and don't remember seeing any obout this problem. When I fill my tank the gauge will bounce back and forth between empty and full until 1/2 tank then works fine. What's could be the problem?

Sending unit. Seems to be a recurring topic.

It sure acts like a malfunctioning sending unit. If it were a loose connection, short or gauge it would do it all the time.
