    Default Help. Removing black coating on tailights

    I have my tailights painted with a few coats of vht niteshades and a few coats of clear. I recently got a ticket for them and need to remove it. How do I go about removing the black paint and restoring the red color?

    My advice would be go get a headlight restore kit. It includes some fine abrasives that might just be able to take that stuff right off and leave you with a nice, shiny, new-looking light.
