The RPM will vary depending on the axle ratio of the truck. If you have a tach you can see when lock up occurs. Your tach will drop about 500 RPM. After it's locked up if you watch the tach and touch your brake pedal you can see your converter unlock and the RPM raise about 500 RPM.
Also, if your truck is not locking up you will see a P1860 or P0741 stored in memory.
