    Default 442 hood comments

Does any1 have any thoughts on the 442 style hood from keystone? i was thinking of getting one for my 1999 k1500 5.0 (classic body) but not quite sure about the fiberglass and how it will hold up and look and also how well does the ram air feature work ?

it works but pretty much 50 mph and faster the air is just going over the hood due to aerodynamics

I'm not sure for your year of truck, but they do make that style in steel from Goodmark but your talking major money there. I was leary about the fiberglass too, that's why I would get the steel hood instead. I know the ram air kits they sell for those hoods are just as much money as the hood itself, but yes that is an awesome hood as far as looks and performance go.
