I have a 2004 Chevy 2500HD 4x4 Crew Cab Long Bend with a 6.0L Gas Engine. Bought this hypertech Max Energy Chip Programmer but dont know what to do I installed it asks to change shift points and I dont know what to set every thing to I just want better performance and better gas mileage. Anyone have any Ideas on what I am suppose to do.

Well, I suggest this:
1. Program the correct octane for what you use
2. Adjust the rev limiter to like +300-500
3. Adjust the shift points to +300 for each gear
4. Adjust the shift firmness to max
That should get you the most out of that programmer. I use the Hypertech HyperPAC and it basically uses the same program, just with extras.
