    Default 1-2 Shift Bump/Knock/Shake - 2000 LS

Hey guys, I've got a 2000 Silverado LS (5.3L) with 110k on the clock and sometimes, usually after it heats up, when I'm accelerating slowly and it goes to shift into second gear, I feel a bumping/shaking/knocking for a second or two. It reminds me of wheel hop but its more subtle than that. I read somewhere that it might be a shift servo? Anyone experience this before? Is there a way to correct/fix this?

Also, does anyone know what transmission I have in my truck or how I can find out?

    Thanks in advance.

You have a 4L60E transmission. Your servo piston has seals that usually do not wear out. The chatter may be from a weak EPC <electronic pressure control> solenoid but it could be caused by any number or other problems. Have you checked for codes?

It hasn't thrown any codes meaning the CEL hasn't come on. Could it be throwing codes without the light coming on?
