Thread: Will not fire

  1. #1

    Default Will not fire

    91 Suburban w/350.
Came home last night and parked in the drive way. Ran fine!! This morning it will not fire. It turns over and will try to start for about a second and then shuts off. After the first time it will not fire at all. It just turns over. Any idea?? Maybe module in distributor?? Anyone else had this happen?

I had that problem once. It turned out it was the sending unit in the gas tank.Gas wasn't reaching the engine.

Start with the basics, spark , fuel. But if it ran fine when you parked it my quess is a crank sensor.
