I've been using this product for several years now in nearly all of my vehicles (all of which are over 100k miles) and it seems to do very well. I've had no adverse effects from using it. But is it really necessary and does it really help protect your engine? It has the consistency of honey and is just about as sticky so I'd imagine it does stick to the engine's internal components. I was wondering if anyone has any complaints or have had problems from the use of the Lucas Oil Engine... additive... stuff.

Lucas is the king of this demonstration, I see them in every auto parts store I go in.
If you need to use an additive you are using the wrong oil. Many of the top synthetics and even some conventional on the market have the proper additives at the correct levels. Pouring an additive into oil that may already have the the proper amounts is not going to do any good and not recommended. I know for a fact AMSOIL and Mobil 1 say never use additives with their oils. Hope this helps.

With this question you can usually get answers at each extreme. I use the oil stabilizer which is what I beleive you are using. They also have the synthetic stabilizer that is a lot less thick. I also use the regular stabilizer in my vehicles. 1 quart to 5 quarts castrol in the truck and 1/2 quart to 4 quarts castrol in my car. I also use the fuel treatment. This could all be snake oil but who knows and probably never will. If it works, great. If not, I wasted some money. Either way in the end I probably won't know if it helped or not.
