    Default Which transmission do I have?

    I blew up my transmission so I need to know which model transmission my truck has .It a 1999 Chevy 1500 Z71 5.3L VIN # (2GECK19TX1249768). The number on the transmission is (9KCD117E 2500 7028). I think it is a (AL60E) but I'm not sure.

    think its a 4L65-e bolt pattern is different for the ls series motors should be a tag or cast mark on the trans that you can see on or near the bellhousing also your production options sticker will say it mine says m30 its right after the engine code LM7 i think for the 99 motors
