The first questions to ask yourself before buying a lift is, how often is the vehicle going to see the offroad? Is it going to be a parking lot queen? is it a daily driver? How much money are you willing to spend on the lift, tires, wheels, and labor?

There are many different kits available some better than others. My biggest suggestion is do your homework before you commit to anything. I spent 6months worth of homework before I settled on my 8in ProComp lift.

Cool what lift should i get

I wouldnt go over a 8inch lift because the tire size 37inch and up are to much for the 1/2 ton axles. If you stay on the street only than 37s will be o.k. with 8inch lift. I had 6inch lift on my Suburban with 35s for years and no problems. Changed my front torsen bars and rear springs for 2inches more lift, 8inch total added 37s and the first time off-road broke a rear axle. Its no fun changing a rear axle off-road.

Welcome to the site! I would also agree with doing your homework. You can't just take a person's word for it that their lift is the best. You get what you pay for. Besides researching here, I talked to a few shops that install lifts to see what lifts have the best track record.
