    Default Brake Light Problems

    Hello:
    I have an S-10 Chevy extened cab, pickk-up, and seem to be having issues with the brake lights staying on all the time.(even after the vehicle is turned off and key removed. But wat has me really confused is the up high light works normally. I have remove the pedal switch and removed the terminal, but still they burn. I have also replaced all bulbs in the rear of the vehicle and check the harness for splices for a trailer pigtail... everything checks out, but still they stay on, any suggestions

    You checked the brake light switch?
    Wiring for the trailer, have those wires been checked as well?
