Default Wat to expect inside [Expired Topic]

Watt can I expect inside, when I open my engine with 160000 miles on it?
I have a water leak on de intake manifold and the joint must be replaced.
That’s the reason that I open it, but I’m a little bit afraid what I will find inside

depends, if the leak is inside you may find antifreeze under the intake. but you said the joint must be repalced do you mean the connection for the heater hose in the top rear of the manifold?

If there is no antifreeze leaking into the top and the oil has been changed regularly, everything should be fine.

Bought an 87 k-5 Blazer back a couple years ago from a man who had it at the dealer for a knock in the engine and the dealer told him it needed a new engine, so he bought a new truck. He had recently had a friend of his replace the intake gaskets on it and after that it began knocking. Well I took it to the garage, pulled the engine out, put it on an engine stand and took the intake off the very first thing, only to find a shop rag left in the engine and covering about half the oil ports. Talking about being shocked about what I saw! lol. Never expected that. That has absolutely nothing to do with what you will find, but just wanted to share with you my "find" story.

You could find just about anything inside an engine that has over 100k miles.
but, I suspect you'll only find coolant, if even that.
    Where is the leak?

The leak is at the front of the engine, between the intake manifold and the cylinder head

This weekend I started to work on the engine, I was surprised to see how clean the engine is inside, the only thing that was wrong was the joint from the intake manifold, it was bad on two places. The reason that the engine is clean it runs on LPG , I can’t afford petrol on $6 a Gallon

Oh...wow! I have a heap of questions! But I will try to refrain from asking too many.
How long has it been running LPG? How has the engine handled the conversion?
Was it a massive conversion, or did they perform a simple conversion?
