I have a '93 Cheyenne 4x4 with a 4.3L V6. I'm looking to install a cold air intake to pick up a couple horse power. Does anybody recommend a specific brand?
I'm also looking to advance the timing. Does anyone know how far I can advance the timing safely and what type of gas i would need to run?
Thanks,
Mike

AirAID or AEM. I like both of those.

thanks I will look into those. Do you know what types of numbers I will see as far as horse power or fuel efficiency?

Don't expect the world. I would say 5-7HP would be average. MPG you may see an increase by 1 or 2 at the most.
Actually, I see you have a V6, so I'm not sure what gains you will see. I was thinking it was a V8. Either way, it won't be huge.

Thanks, I think it will be worth the money. Do you know anything about the timing?
