ok my new 96 burb has the wires on the back window for the defrost, but it does not have the switch for it. when i look in the book it looks like it came with one on the ac area. the guy who sold it to me say they had to put new ac switch, and this one did not come with the defrost. So the question is i saw on Ck resto that they have single switches that go to the left of the ac area. you know next to the cluster. I pulled it all off and it has 3 three different wire clusters. so does any one know if i can do this?

That's funny why he didn't get one with the rear defrost on it. I think that is a special type of "switch" and you don't want something like a throw switch to control it, etc. I'd look for a replacement piece that takes it back to factory for the AC & Defrost.
