Congrats on the new addition. Restored to original, or are you planning on upgrades at all? LS1...ferrari interior...sherman tank tracks..?.. anything?

im sure the title issue varries state to state.here in alabama any vehicle older that a 75 (i believe) only requires a bill of sale.thats the way it was with my 1953 willys jeep.the best way to find out would probably be to check with the place you get your tags and whatnot.good luck on it!looks pretty good for the age

here in WA... you can file for a lost title

when you do this... they will give you a registration and the license plates in your name-- but you will not get a tile just yet... there is a 6 month waiting period that allows any previous owners that have not released interested to come forth and say "hey thats my truck it was stolen" or "hey ya I sold that to him"

once that is cleared up you get issues a bran new title.. but it doesnt say 09-- it says the acctual year of the vehicle you bought.. making it exempt from emmisions

your best bet though it to just use the title you already have.. and just pretend its the same truck-- go get plates for your old truck and just use it as it was the title you got with the new vehicle

the DMV will never know the difference... and as the trucks are exactly the same-- it wont matter in any way

i wouldnt use the same title for 2 different trucks.the DMV may not know the difference but law enforcement sure will if they stop you.weve given tickets for swapped tags with fines up to $1000. i may be misunderstanding you though

If you need to get a duplicate title in ND the last registered owner needs to get the title and sign it over to you.

This was on the ND DOT website
