    OK, like I mentioned earlier when you have this code your timing is retarded. This will make your truck run like crap. Here's a cut and paste on what your PCM does when this code sets:

    When any of DTCs P0327, P0328, P0332 and P0333 are set, the ECM enters fail-safe mode. During failsafe
    mode, the ignition timing is delayed to its maximum retardation. Fail-safe mode continues until the
    ignition switch is turned OFF.

    Like I mentioned earlier you have to follow the trouble tree in order to correct this problem. Here's a link to the trouble tree. Click

    thank you, so i need to change ky knock sensor? sorry for the stupid questions. where is my knock sensor in my truck?

    well, after i got my remanufactured tranny back and installed, i do not have this weird "searching" feeling in my truck any more. it is a strong solid steady drive now with no problems... yet
    2000 silverado with a 5.3l v8, shorty headers, upgraded plugs, 10 mil wires, magnaflow high flow cats, flowmaster 80 series muffler(2 in 2 out) w/ 18 inch stainless silverline tips. i have a k&n CIA. its a 4x4 z71 offroad package. Ls model.
    extended cab 160k miles, truxedo low profile bed cover, diablo sport predator tuner.
    reman tranny @ 130k miles

    I was having the same problem as well as my tranny not staying in OD. I had the TrasGo Shift Kit installed that fixes the P1870 code and no more"surging" or tranny problems. Don't know if its related to the "surging" but it doesn't do it now.
