    Default Looking 00 Bourban 5.3 engine perf. chip for towing 5500 lb

    Hey Bourbanites,
    I'm looking for a good, reliable 5.3 engine performance plug-in computer chip without emptying the bank. Currently towing a 5500 lb trailer. Yes I have the towing package w/373 locker rearend. Looking to step up to an 8500 lb travel trailer in the spring.

    Hypertech makes a good programmer. Honestly, you're not really going to find a "Good, reliable" chip without spending a fair amount of cash. What year, weight class is your 'burban? From a safety standpoint if your 'burban isn't designed to pull 8500lbs you probably should't do it.
