OK got my '05 Silverado a few months ago and am ready for my first detailing, well extensive cleaning + wax. My question is do you guys (or gals) use anything special to clean/protect/preserve the black plastic around the front bumper and the black rubber (?) stuff on the rear bumper step? I'm old school and my first thought is Armor-All, is that still the best stuff? Just wanna keep the truck lookin' sharp.![]()

I have always used Black Magic on all of my black plastic pieces, it tends to last for a couple of months too. I have never used armor all on the outside plastic, but I do like those wipes for the dash because they aren't as messy as the spray. Black Magic is slimey to work with but it works, I do my truck twice a year with it and it still looks like new.![]()

What i use to clean it is adams all purpose cleaner and i use adams vrt on anything plastic. the thing about armour all is its greasy. adams vrt is not. and it restores back to black not shiny. just nice right out of the show room look. Here is there web site the make the best car cleaning products around.
