Thanks everyone. My father and I built the car together.

Nice video! Usually the Nova's we see race can't keep it going in a straight line, the unibody's are hard to keep straight even if you tie them. I love how the paint changed color when it went down the track, great sounding car off of the line also.

Wow. Gotta love the flat track. Nice Nova BTW. I just started on a 1952 pickup project. Would you happen to know anybody running an I6? If so what kind of times are they pulling on the track? Just curious because I decided to keep my I6 instead of going to a v8. I'm going to have to run my beast down the 1/8 mile here just to see what she does.

Thanks. My father and I installed a 10 point cage and went through the floor to tie it into the frame. This car leaves as straight as an arrow, its a joy to drive. As for the sound, I actually run it with a full exhaust so I can run certain classes. Hooker Super Comp headers into a set of DynoMax Ultra Flow Mufflers.

Not many 6 cylinders on race day. Im not saying they cant be fun but I havent seen too many modified 6's. Going fast is fun but you dont have to go fast to have fun racing.
