I have an 01' Silverado with just dual exhaust and I'm looking for some ideas. There are 3 things I'm looking for, first being rims and tires. I was looking to go with like a 6 inch lift, so what sixe rims and tires should I go with? Second, I blew the speakers on my passenger side door, so I'm looking to replace them, anyone know any good speakers? Third, anyone know a good programmer with the speedometer calibration built in? And last, any thing else that you suggest let me know...

I've been keeping my eye on wheels from other members trucks. Some wheels look real cool in a magazine but when you see them on a Silverado they don't look so good. So look at other members trucks till you find the ones you like.
I still haven't bought a programmer because the jury is still out on that. I get my mind changed every day on which programmer to get. LOL
Check out the speakers online at Crutchfield. You will find they are the same if not cheaper than EBay.

I got an 02' Silverado with a 6in lift and I got 17in wheels with 35x12.50 tires and they do great. A little rub every now and then but nothing bad
I can't say anything about the lift, as I am trying to go lower.
For speakers, I've always had good luck with Infinity. They reproduce highs very nicely in my truck.
As for wheels / tires, some sites like Discount Tire Direct and Tire Rack have simulators so you can get an idea of what the wheels might look like. It will all depend on what you want.
And, I had the Hypertech III programmer, which allowed you to re-calibrate the speedo, based on tire size. I'm sure most of the programmers out there now, allow you to do this.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Steve

Do you have gas or diesel? Screen names are deceiving! I carry BullyDog and DiabloSport programmers that have speedometer racalibration capabilities. Also if you click the link in my sig, you might be able to get a discount on it.![]()

x2 on the wait4meperformance program it is the bomb diggidy. As far as wheels Cruser alloy makes a good line of 20 inch wheels for the silverado. I have a lot of buddies that have went this rout and they are very happy. Nice durable wheels for a decent price. 20s look great on that body style lifted. 35 inch nitto grapplers are a nice fitting tire with the 20s a lil bit pricey but worth it in the end. If you dont go with the nitto go with Maxxis. As far as speakers go with DB audio. My buddie is current world record holder with these speakers and they are the bomb diggiy also. If it was my truck I would go all out with a 6 inch suspension lift and a 3 inch body lift. I think that would be sick with a set of chrome cruser alloys. I want to see a before pic of the truck fist tho. I am just dreaming for you.
