    Default How Big of Tires

    Answer is probably on here already somewhere, but how big of tires can i put on my 04 silverado with 16 inch wheels with no lift or anything , thanks

    i have 265/75/16 on mine with no problems at all. a coo worker has 285/75/16 on his '98 cheyenne and cannot go any bigger
    2000 silverado with a 5.3l v8, shorty headers, upgraded plugs, 10 mil wires, magnaflow high flow cats, flowmaster 80 series muffler(2 in 2 out) w/ 18 inch stainless silverline tips. i have a k&n CIA. its a 4x4 z71 offroad package. Ls model.
    extended cab 160k miles, truxedo low profile bed cover, diablo sport predator tuner.
    reman tranny @ 130k miles

    Im running 285/70/17's on my truck they is no rubbing at all. I think you can run a 285/75/17 if you wanted though but nothing bigger than that.

    On my 2002 Silverado, i fit 285's on my truck with stock height with no rubbing and a lot of room.
    2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 z71
    6.5" BDS Suspension Lift Key'd to 9"
    5.5" Lift Springs with 4" Blocks
    35" Toyo Open Country Mud Terrain on 18" Ion Alloy 179's

    Ive got 295/75/16's on my 04 gmc sierra without any rubbing whatsoever but i do have my torsions cranked up all the way to make the truck look a little taller, cranking the torsions takes 5 minutes and can be done with a floor jack and the right size socket its super easy

    ive got a 04 and was able to put 285/75/16 at stock height with no problem.you may even be able to go to 295 without having to do anything but im not sure
