I'm looking at getting a K&N cool air intake for my 02' Silverado 4.8L, but eventually I wanna get a Whipple supercharger so does anyone know if they are compatible? Or will I have to get rid of the intake when I get the supercharger and use the one that comes with the kit?

i am pretty sure the super charger will come with its own intake parts

Yea i figured it would but someone was sayin the K&N would work to but wasn't sure so just tryin to figure out if I should wait till I get the supercharger or not
If you plan on getting a supercharger, I would tell you to put the money you were going to spend on the intake towards your S/C. If you arent doing it anytime soon, go for the intake. I would think you would need two different intakes for each set-up. I do not have any experience with a S/C on these trucks, I could be wrong.
