have swapped out all sensors nothing worked.had timing chkd, fuel reg rebuilt , what are the chances i got a bad fuel pump could that cuase this problem
could be a bad pump , could be something as simple as the fuel filter needing replaced too. also might check into the fuel pressure regulator. that is another thing that has caused the kind of problems you are having. I would have focussed on the fuel delivery problem before repacing any or in your case all of the sensors (unless you got a code pinpointing one of them from the ecm)
What is needed to check fuel pressure and where to hook up???

you chould be able to take it to advanced, napa, or autozone, and they should be able to put a pressure guage on it for you, and it should be free of charge. you need to get the guage on there, starth the vehicle, rev it to about 2000rpm one or twice, then shut it down. wait about 15-30 min. if the pressure drops, its either your fuel pump or your injectors. your auto parts stores are not gonna want to wait that long, so you may want to drop it off at a shop over night so the guage can sit there on it for a while.

explain the bog. rpms drop, wont gain any rpm? how many miles on it? sounds like it could be a bad cat
if your injecters were leaking you should have an extended crank, fuel vapor smell at startup ect
with the motor running spray a carb cleaner/brake clean ect around the intake gasket. if it revs up its leaking
does the motor have a EGR? if you've never had a dealer do a carbon clean it may be clogged

For checking clogged exhaust, you can remove the oxygen sensor(s) and see if it improves. Or connect an exhaust pressure gauge in the oxygen sensor hole.
Then the fuel system is complex. More to it than the pump and regulator. Here is info on that...

And these days with computer controlled engines and many electrical sensors, it is much less expensive to "test" various things to see if each gizmo is working or not. This is mostly done with a multimeter, fuel pressure gauge, and GM factory service manual set. Order the factory service manual set from helminc.com or a GM dealer.
In the factory books you can go to a specific symptom. Then it will tell you various things to test. Tell you specifically how to test these things. And tell you what the test results should be.
Also it shows you where various gizmos are located. And has complete instructions for replacing faulty parts. Sometimes it is not a matter of just plopping in the new part. You may need to do this or that in a certain order. Maybe reset a computer or whatever. Anyway these books tell you exactly what to do.
How to use a multimeter...
