I tell you what.........Camaro isnt just speed, muscle, power and handling. Its Image!!!!!! They were never the Chevy top dog for any of those traits, in fact the Camaro was something that most of us couldnt afford in the Corvette and for the rest it was that we hated the Mustang!! I had an 84 Camaro, while it was no speed demon, BELIEVE me as a sopmore in high school it was the ultimate coolness, not being the geek that had moms convertible, but the jock rolling with the cheerleader with the T-Tops off and the exhaust ROARING...........thats what Camaro was about, but holy HELL!!!!!!!!!!, this new one, is NOT just that I cant afford a Corvette< but something to be JUST as coo if not more rare in this day & agel!!!!!

Iv'e seen a couple around here and they are awesome. I'm just waiting to see one out at the flat track one of these weeks. I'd love to see one take down some of these mustangs there. There isn't a single mustang there that impresses me aside of one old 87 that has been completely rebuilt for the track. Either way the new camaros are slick and have sure brought back the camaro title with a bang.

Challenger versus the Camaro?? I would take the Challenger in a second over the Camaro, and this is coming from a Chevy girl. My uncle bought a 2008 Challenger SRT8 w/6.1 supercharged Hemi with the pistol grip shifter, and I have to admit that it is a beast it would rip the Camaro night and day. He got the tangelo orange with the carbon fiber shaker hood, granted I think he paid $50,000 for it but DAMN!!!!!2004 Chevy Colorado
