    Do these intakes really help with MPG and HP? I have overheard that unless you reprogram the computer chip that you really don't see any improvements. How true is this?

    yes sobelive that is true if you dont have a vehicle that utilizes mass air flow sensor like dodge models basically those type of motors have set peramerters so the computer dosent register the added air fuel and such which requires a pcm programer for it to work properly

    they do increase hp and mpg but, it will be worthless if you dont have an exhuast to get that air in and get air out fast.

    I can't find a K&N cold air intake for the 4.3l V6 .
    A re they available ?

    I'm rocking a spectre, it sounds amazing but the power gain is minimal if any. My biggest gain has been my custom tune.

    x2 i got the same one and loving it plus mine was free from my buddys shop since he wanted to show it off at a car show when i was out last summer
