
Ok, I am trying to get the O2 sensor out, in particular its the #1 on bank 2, I can not bust this sucker lose!! i have been spraying penetrating fluid on it and nothing, does this thing need to be heated up and then crank on it, i am just afraid to snap it and then have to get the pipe cut up and redone

try driving and getting the exhaust hot before, other wise heat up the O2 bung with a torch. with all the salt and sand they lay down they can be a pain to get loose

As Z71 said, you might want to go ahead and heat that sucker up. It will help expand the metal and loosen things up a little bit. I personally know how tough SOBs those things are but the blow torch isn't a bad idea if it comes down to a last resort. PB Blaster... PB BLASTER!!!

(PS... I got too frustrated at some point and paid a shop to take the damn thing out and replace it for me - cost me a few bucks but it got DONE and I saved the aggravation so it was worth the cash!)
