Hey everyone! I wasn't quite happy with my first video that i took with the corsa exhaust. I'm not all that happy with these either. but its better than nothing AND these are a little bit longer... I think I need to put the camera(digital cam w/ video option) a bit further away and just zoom in... But, here they are. First vid is the Stock Exhaust, followed by the two NEW vids of the corsa...Hope you enjoy!

I love Corsa to death don't get me wrong, but it's too dam quiet on idle! I think it is one of the best quality systems on the market as far as fit and finish, I just miss the nice low rumble of a V-8 in these videos. It has more of a race truck sound which is nice, but I love to also have a nice low rumble on idle. I see that you got the sport exhaust, that is supposed to actually be louder than the touring exhaust right? I have been trying to decide between Borla and Corsa, I am leaning more towards Borla on because it is a little bit louder at idle and miss that with the Corsa. Of course I think mine would sound different than this, considering it's a 6.0.![]()
Springthing - yea that was pretty much the sound i was going for. as i've said in another post around here somewhere... When I'm REALLY on the pedal... and there's a wall/building on the passenger side.. it sounds like the truck is gargling with the blood of a t-rex!! lol or maybe at least a lion haha...
Trplxl2 - Yes the sport is a little louder than the touring exhaust. a friend of mine has the touring and while it has a gorgeous sound it just wasn't the sound i wanted... I thought about borla and magnaflow... but i really like the idea that its reasonably quiet at idle (from the interior...its pretty loud when you're standing outside[much louuder than stock]) ALSO.. I like the stealth/sleeper lconcept... when people are parked next to me at a light it doesn't sound like there's a monster exhaust but when that light turns green... they'll know where i am at all timeshaha I think there is a slightly different tone with between the 6.0 and the 5.3L... When i bought this truck last year i was actually looking at the 6.0 1500 MAX but then the dealership OWNER said that the 5.3 plenty of power and a nicer sound... (my truck wasn't off their lot.. they got it from a dealership in PA.)

2Tone... I never really paid attention to it... it's incredibly quiet during cruising... All i feel is the vibration of the extra "BASS"(compared to stock) but no drone.
EDIT 7/13/2009: 2Tone... Sounded like stock when cruising at 65 mph on the highway this weekend
