    Default Lift a stock 1999 2WD Burb

    Hi all!

My stock 1999 2WD C1500 Burb rides a little too low for my taste. I have a large grille guard up front that also adds to the lower front rake. What is the best way to lift the body equally (not looking for a suspension lift, it's only 2WD) and maintain the slight rake toward the front?

All input is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

do the 2wd still have the IFS up there?

if they do you cou;d crank the torsian bars and or swap key for even more lift. Another option would be is the spindles. Im not familiar with your particular burb but on an educated guess i'd tell you to start there

Hi. Yes, the 1999s have coil spring IFS. I am looking for just enough lift to get the C1500 to look like a C2500. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks. That addresses the front lift. How about the rear...?

So you want the whole truck lifted or just leveled out, if you want a lift you will need more then just spacers up front, new spindles and/or arms and leaf springs in the back. Try fabtech or belltech for full lifting, but to level all you need is the front spavers to get the front a little higher to be even with the rear
