hooked up the halos. if anybody needs help with wiring these to your stock harness, let me know...the instructions are extremely vague. i've got some tint vinyl film coming in for the fogs to smoke them out and i'm working on doing some custom stuff with the bowties.

+1 on the bowties the same color as the truck and personally wouldnt do the stripes, if it was my truck the next thing i would do is paint all the chrome nameplate things flat black (silverado on the sides), i'm not a fan of chrome im in the process of dechroming my truck. and what about painting the chrome one the rear bumper body color? just my .02 trucks looking great so far

next step is some dark window tint, then i'll see what i can do about all the chrome badges. i wanted to pull the rear bumper, strip the trim, and powercoat it flat black. a few friends around here insist that i should paint the grille and lower bumper to match the truck, but i think the black is looking pretty wicked, something a little different. thanks for all the input guys, much more to come.

i changed the plugs today from the stock ac delco to ngk iridium iv plugs. FYI, the two rear plugs on the passenger side are a pain in the ass to get to without swivel sockets. anybody rig up a ram air on their nbs silverado yet? i emailed volant about the trailblazer one they offer, somewhere i saw a guy that was using it for his silverado, they never emailed me back though.

Vararam has a true ram air kit for the NNBS and classic trucks, the air ducts come in behind your grille. There is a guy on gm-trucks.com that has that setup on his NNBS and it's wild, I am going to try one out on my 05' but it's $400 and I'm broke right now.

i saw that Vararam kit and it was actually cheaper than my Volant intake on ebay. i couldn't find one testimonial on it for our trucks, so i didn't bother getting it. the design looked awesome, but i was a little afraid of sucking in water, especially here in south Louisiana. lol, by the way, the Volant intake got me an extra .10 o fa second at the track at an ambient temperature of 90ish.
