Thats crazy that you've had that experience. The only thing I can think of is some sort of strange coincidence. Statistically, that many coincidences would be very nearly impossible, but on the other hand if there's one thing I know, it is that strange things happen and you never really know anything for certain.

take a screw driver open hood by moving cable. Open hood with safety. Disconnect battery positive. Pry door with plastic prybar. Reconnect battery. Use sturdy coat hangar or fiberglass pole to depress lock on armrest. Voila

I don't know where you are, but I find that a fiberglass driveway marker works great to open locked cars. Just wedge the top corner of the door open with a piece of wood or something, slide the rod in & swing it over to push the door lock forward. I used to be able to get into my work truck in less than 30 seconds.
You're driving is WAY more offensive than my swearing, assjack!!!

But, The Tennis ball method works.

    1. Lock the door with the tennis ball.

Wander through your favorite store for 0ne hour.

    2. Use any properly calibrated tennis ball to unlock your door.

    See it worked for me!!

Funny, but there was no interior in my truck when I got back!
