How's your air cleaner? Is it stock? If the air cleaner is dirty or full of red oil I would clean the mass airflow sensor.

air cleaner is fine and mass air looks good. i guess i'll just pay someone else to spend time on it. i have to get it going soon because my suburban is for sale so if it sells soon i need my pickup back so i have something to drive. thanks to all who gave suggestions. i'll be sure to let everyone know what stupid small thing i forgot to check, because it's always something stupid that u never to think to check.

Your computer is programmed to your truck, accessories, and security system. The other computer may work if you get it reprogrammed. This can be done at the dealer or a repair shop that has the pass through programming software.

I would do the ground connections, and check your output on your battery when its running, and sitting. Check the voltage regulator too.
