Hey everyone,
I have a friend with a problem and I need some help here, we can't seem to finger it out.
he has a 2000 GMC zr71 (chevy extreme) extended cab with the 4.3L HO motor.
its a stick too.
the truck with turn over, but won't catch. We found that he isn't getting any spark.
replaced the coil still wouldn't start, replaced the ignition control module, still wouldn't start.
I metered between the 2 wires that go to the input side of the coil, and when he crank it sees about 7.4VDC.
im wondering if it might be the wire from the coil to the distributor? or maybe the ECM? I am lost, and he needs this truck to get back and forth to work.
any suggestions would help tremendously, thanks
