    Default Cut the antenna?

Will cutting a few inches off the top of the antenna kill my radio reception a lot or not too much? My antenna drags on my garage door, getting annoyed with it..

idk if it would, im thinking it will, i know you can bend them and not affect the range

I have one of those shorty rubber antennas on my truck. The reception is just as good as a long antenna. You can get one at most parts stores.
