What's the benefits of of this versus a tbi unit?

They seam not to have as many problems as TBI's, and I thing they are more tune-able, but Idk for sure.

Tuned Port motors make more low end torqure than the TBI units. Arizona Speed & Marine and TPI Specialtys have high performance parts for those motors. TPI Spec. has nice cams for the motors.
So basically if I get an 87 or 88 Iroc Z tuned port setup and swap it onto my burb, I'd be alot happier over stock? Is it just bolt-on?
The tuned port LT-1 350 in my kids big 'ol caprice gives him 25-26 MPG on the highway. I would be surprised if you sould just plug and play unless sombody makes a conversion kit.
