well for the front I'll be running two pairs of lights, one white, one amber so the brand doesnt really matter for those right?

and this ad claims these are 4114 amber leds but it says they are for the turn signals so do you think these are 3157's or at least just compatible with the turn signals?

4114 bulbs are the same base as 3157, the only difference is the 3157 run at a lower wattage and especially since they are LED. You'll be fine with different brands between the colors, I was just saying when you have one burn out you want to try and get one of the same brand otherwise the color will be different. I really think you'll be happy with the results, and they are even better if you get a set of diamond cut headlights and the clear corners.

so if i put the leds in the turn signals with no load resistor would it just blink fast as if the light had gone out?

Yes If you don't put load resistors in they will blink like crazy, I don't know if you could get a ticket for that or not. The guy from Stylin Concepts told me that if you opt not to put the resistors in, then the life of the bulb will be cut drastically short. Basically every 2-3 months you would be buying new one's, hope this helps.
